The Parr Hall Spring Concert

Saturday 25th April 2009

Warrington Male Voice Choir's guests, the Centenary Theatre Company and the children of the Navan Educate Together National School from Co. Meath, Ireland, and St. Peter's RC Primary School from Dalbeattie, Scotland joined with the choir to provide a memorable evening's entertainment.  Harmony In Blue, the young men's section of the choir, also took part.  The concert took place in the presence of His Worship, Cllr Graham Welborn, Mayor of Warrington, and Mayoress, Mrs Elaine Welborn.

Music ranged from the sacred to folk and traditional through to popular songs from the shows.  Have a look at the concert programme for more information.  After the concert, the Mayor and Mayoress stepped onto the stage to thank the performers for their efforts.

The evening's proceedings were once again ably compèred by Bob Williams.

The choir gets the concert underway with the famous Welsh hymn Gwahoddiad.

The choir's accompanist, Anthony Whittaker, does his solo spot on the Cavaillé-Coll organ.
