Friday 28th February, 2005, saw the presentation of long service awards to three members, who between them have clocked up one hundred years of choir membership.
Derek Percival started singing with his church choir at the age of ten, and is still at it nearly seventy years later. Brian Yates is a committee member with special responsibility for social function organisation. Both received their awards for twenty five years service. Geoff Higham tips the scales with fifty years continuous membership. There is a separate article on Geoff.
