The Cavaillé-Coll is now under threat of removal from the Parr Hall, and, indeed, from the town of Warrington. Many people feel that this is ill advised, and would be a great loss if it were to happen. Anthony Whittaker, the choir's accompanist has played the Cavaillé-Coll regularly at choir concerts, and is so concerned about the prospect of losing the organ, that he has applied for permission to set up an e-petition to the Prime Minister. His request has been granted.
